Councilwoman Cheryle Randolph-Sharpe

Cheryle Randolph-Sharpe has been a member of the Lindenwold Borough Council since 2008. She currently serves as Council President.

 A New Jersey licensed appraiser her background is in Real Estate Appraising since 1986.   Former Vice- President of appraising with CLSA and past owner of Sharpe Valuation Solutions. Ms. Randolph-Sharpe served on the New Jersey Real Estate Appraisal Board for 13 years as an appointment of Governor Codey, she also served on the Federal Appraisal board as a “Subject Matter Expert” and was part of the group that wrote the Federal National Examination for Real Estate Appraisers. She served on the Federal Exam board for 10 years.  

Cheryle is currently employed with the Camden County Clerk’s office and serves as the Union Shop Steward.

Ms. Randolph-Sharpe is liaison to the Finance department, Redevelopment, Lindenwold School Board.  and Media (newsletter, website and channel 192 TV.) Ms. Sharpe has mentored at Lindenwold High School and participated in annual events introducing high school young- ladies interested in running for office and other community events. She served as “Room-Mom” from 1st to 8th grade, while her daughter was in school.

Ms. Randolph-Sharpe is a graduate of Overbrook High School and has lived in Lindenwold since 1976, moving briefing and then returning to Lindenwold. She is married to her husband Timothy since 1997. Her daughter is a current student at Rutgers University.  An active member of her church, Living Word Community Church for over 25 years, she is a mentor to high-school students and has raised money for Mission trips to the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Mexico. She accompanies groups of young people annually on retreats for the past 25 years.  Her group raises money, supplies for the homeless ministry, children with disabilities and others in need.   

Ms. Randolph-Sharpe is a recipient of the “Camden County Freedom Medal”, which acknowledges community service, founder of the Marie C. Burrows Scholarship (which honors her former running mate) 2 scholarships are given to the family annually to deserving students. Ms. Randolph-Sharpe has spoken at many Professional and Social events. She studied with the Appraisal Institute and the Edward Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, Center for Government Services at Rutgers University.

Ms. Randolph-Sharpe is a history buff that enjoys documentaries and reading bios of historians.  She enjoys travel (a former Senior flight attendant) cooking, the arts, hanging out with family and friends.  Ms. Randolph-Sharpe is writing a book in her spare time, entitled “Strength for Today and Hope for Tomorrow” a book of encouragement and during adversity.
