Councilman Walter Lenkowski

Walter Lenkowski has been a resident of Lindenwold for 7 years, after marrying his wife Denise who was born and raised in Lindenwold. Walt has been a Journeyman Ironworker/Welder at Iron Workers Union Local 399 for 38 years. He is a graduate of of Camden Catholic High School.

Walter has served as a Lindenwold Councilman since 2021. He is the School Board Liaison and the Parks & Recreation Liaison for Council. He is currently a Democratic Committeeman, and previously served as a Member and Chairman of the Joint Land Use Board.

Before moving to Lindenwold, Walt served as Deputy Mayor of Mantua Township. He also served as a member of the Mantua Township Planning Board, and as a Commissioner for the Anti-Pollution Finance Committee for Gloucester County.

Walt has volunteered for 38 years throughout South Jersey for many causes, including the construction of multiple playgrounds and buildings for non-profit organizations, and helping with food giveaways at local food banks.
