IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR COURT CASE

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC:

Lindenwold Municipal Court will be holding in person hearings. It is important that we have emails for all defendants this enables us to notify you with the court log in information.  If you received traffic tickets, or a summons/complaint please contact the court office to update your email and contact information.  Do not wait until court day to call, it is extremely busy and our court personnel cannot guarantee we can return your call in time to log in for your session.

Please read the following information regarding your upcoming court session:

Representation by an attorney
You may obtain a private attorney, apply for the services of a Public Defender, or represent yourself.  If you chose to obtain a private attorney, your attorney will need to provide a letter of representation before your court date.  If you would like to apply for a Public Defender, please contact the court via phone for the form. Options to resolve your matters to limit exposure:

Plea by Mails: Your matter may be eligible to be resolved via a plea-by-mail, eliminating the need for your appearance.   If you choose to represent yourself and proceed, please fill out the form located at the left (Plea by mail). The form needs to be filled out entirely for it to be considered and only certain matters are approved for that. If you have multiple charges, please fill out separate forms for each individual charge.

Negotiate Plea Agreement: If you choose to represent yourself and would like to negotiate a plea agreement, you must contact the Municipal Prosecutor. Contact the court via phone for his information. When contacting the prosecutor, please indicate in the subject line “Lindenwold Municipal Court matter” and within the body of the email your desire to come to a plea agreement, along with your mailing address and phone number.  Your matter will be reviewed by the prosecutor and you will be contacted to resolve your case via plea agreement.

Online (Payable Traffic Ticket Only): To dispute a Payable Traffic Ticket online, visit www.njmcdirect.com. Enter your ticket information and dispute online. The Prosecutor will receive your dispute and respond with a proposed plea agreement. You must respond within five (5) days or your option to dispute your payable traffic ticket online will expire. When the matter is completed, you will receive an email containing information and payment options. You will not need to appear virtually for court by completing this online system. Any questions, please contact the court.
The Municipal Court is open to the public Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm for any payments. If you like to pay online, please visit www.njmcdirect.com. Payments can be mailed at 2001 Egg Harbor Road Lindenwold, New Jersey 08021.
