Filing for ANCHOR Property Tax Relief is Now Even Easier
If you received an ANCHOR Property Tax Relief payment earlier this year, watch your mailbox. If your information has not changed since you last filed for ANCHOR, your benefit for the 2020 tax year will automatically be distributed to you by November 1st, 2023.

Anyone who has changed their mailing address, bank account number, or other qualifying information must file an updated application on the ANCHOR website by September 30th, 2023.

New applicants need to file online by December 29th, 2023.
 

StopOverdoses.NJ.gov: New Website Provides Help During Overdose Emergencies

New Jerseyans aged 14 and older can get free naloxone nasal spray kits from any of 610 currently participating pharmacies across the state. StopOverdoses.NJ.gov, a new website, helps visitors find the nearest participating pharmacy. Naloxone rapidly reverses the effect of an opioid overdose. People asking for naloxone do not need to provide a name or reason.

 New Jerseyans should beware of fraudulent charitable solicitations when seeking to donate to relief efforts in Hawaii. Charity organizations that solicit donations in New Jersey are required to register with the State. Don't be fooled by a convincing name or professional-looking website. Check a charity's status with the Division of Consumer Affairs.

Get Help with SNAP Food Assistance

SNAP Navigators are available in all 21 counties to help people seeking assistance from the state Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). SNAP Navigators can answer questions about SNAP and can help people apply for SNAP benefits. There are 11 agencies with SNAP Navigators available to assist residents throughout New Jersey.

 

 

The Public Health Emergency is Over, COVID-19 and Other Respiratory Viruses Are Not
COVID-19 vaccines remain free and available to everyone. Find locations offering COVID-19 vaccines and boosters on the COVID-19 Vaccine Finder and Community Calendar. If symptoms appear, get tested for COVID-19. As always, keep children home from school and child care centers if they are feeling unwell.
